Let’s Take Action

Please sign this Petition and tell your story to express your personal experience of systemic racism whether it relates to policing, discrimination at the work place, denied equal housing, denial of credit, unjust sentences for minor offenses and wrongful conviction on the Tell My Story Movement website.  Our platform is a channel for you “The People” to express your experience of racism in America.

The United States Constitution includes the laws and principles for governing the United States, but the laws and principles in that original document did not always extend to Blacks. The Thirteenth, Fourteenth and Fifteenth Amendments to The Constitution were ratified in the five years following the Civil War. The 1865 Thirteenth Amendment abolished slavery and involuntary servitude, except as punishment for a crime. The 1868 Fourteenth Amendment expanded the definition of citizenship and provides for equal protection under the law.  The 1870 Fifteenth Amendment prohibits denying a citizen the right to vote based on that citizen’s race, color, or previous condition of servitude.

The Constitution gives all Americans the right of Liberty and Justice.  However, for all Black Americans, that was not the case.  The lack of inclusion of Black people, when the Constitution was first written is the very cause why the Constitutional Amendments 13, 14, 15 was later enacted.

I challenge you today to seek justice and change for all. We want the same laws to be inclusive for Black Americans.

Lift every voice and sing as we tell our stories for a better tomorrow. We are asking for Black Americans to share their personal and truthful stories in an effort to achieve 100,000 or more for Change.

Can we count on you to sign this petition and post your story on the Tell My Story Movement’s website www.tellmystorymovement.com as we advocate for you to help make Changes through our Legislation?

By doing the above, we can start the healing process and the hunger for a better future.  These collective efforts, hopefully, will lead to the rebirth and rebuilding of stronger communities that will transform into wealth for all Americans. Lets love one another and stand united.
